It wasn't only his off day, but it was a weekend. No classes. Which meant Jiro could sleep in as long as he wanted. That thought floated through his fuzzy head as he stretched out on the couch, where he'd fallen asleep last night, watching movies. Opening up a brown eye, he looked to the clock on top of the TV and rolled his eyes. It was -way- to early to be up.
This was around the time Sei woke him up for school. Sighing, he shifted into a sitting position, attempting to get the fog lifted from his head enough to go to the shower. He had to wash out the spray and gel, since his hair looked retarded, or it felt like it did, anyway. Running a hand along the spikes, they were flat and lopsided at the same time. Yep, retarded. Reaching down on the floor, he found his glasses and slipped them on before heading towards the bathroom area, picking his way around clothes he needed to clean up today.
Did Sei have work? Whatever. Shower. He looked at himself in the mirror and grimaced. Yeah, shower then shave. Morning rituals. Grunting as he stripped himself of his thank and pants, he moved over towards the shower and adjusted the temperature, letting the shower run for a minute before stripping himself of his boxers, exposing morning wood, and stepped under the hot stream. Shuddering of the heat on his cool skin, he felt goose bumps along his arms as he reached for his sponge. Yes, he had a color coated sponge because washcloths were to harsh against his skin.
Lathering up the sponge with body wash, he proceeded to wash himself, hobbling over on one foot to get the bottom of his feet and between his toes, an awkward angle. Rinsing off, he grabbed his exfoliating face scrub and washed his face, rinsing and proceeded to shampoo and condition his hair. Shampooing twice to make sure the chemicals were out. He wouldn't fix his hair. He wasn't planning on leaving the apartment today.
Once finished, he reached for a towel on the towel rack, dried his body and wrapped it around his waist while getting a smaller one to start trying his hair. He walked over to the mirror, towel resting on his head, and examined his goatee, frowning a little. Trimming -and- shaving today. Damn.
The electric razor turned on after he'd lathered shaving cream on his face and the shaving ensued. He was surprised he finished up so quickly. It only took him an hour and a half to finish up his bathroom time.
He moved to his room, peeking in on Sei to see if he was asleep or not. Assuming he was, he found his room and flipped the light switch on, going about getting dressed in a pair of comfortable pajama pants and no shirt. He gave his hair another fluff with the towel and tossed it on a chair full of towels and dirty clothes. Laundry day would be today, considering he had work tomorrow. Stupid Sunday shifts. ".... Do I have change to do the laundry?" he wondered out loud, blinking as he combed his hair back. It'd just fall in a part on the left once it was dry, but for now it was out of his face.

Seiichi sighed heavily as he unloaded the dryer of his small amount of laundry. He was tired. He had stayed up all night working on his thesis paper again and when he finally went to bed, Jiro kept him up longer because of his stupid movies. Seiichi swore that Jiro would be deaf this morning with how loud he had the stupid thing set. His internal clock didn't allow him any extra sleep either. Once he woke in the morning, there was no getting back to sleep until the sun was gone. He had a feeling that today was going to be a long day...
Seiichi loaded the next set of clothes into the machine and started it up. He grumbled to himself over the fact that his dark hair kept falling into his face. If he hadn't misplaced his hair-tie, this task would have been far less exasperating. He placed the basket of laundry on the counter and began folding what was already clean. It took little time to finish compared to how long the dryer would run and so he adjusted the glasses on the bridge of his nose and picked up his book, seating himself in a chair as he waited. This was actually one of the few moments Seiichi got to truly relax. Sure, there were times when he was able to catch up on work or study in his room. But Jiro was always able to barge himself in for whatever reason that would bring his shallow peace to a shattering end. It wasn't exactly his favorite aspect of the life they lived, but he accepted it. They were brothers, and what's more, they were twins. There was a whole different level of annoyance and compromise that existed between them as such and Seiichi simply took it all as a fact of their natural life.
... Even the darker parts of it.. Even with how harsh Jiro might treat him - or.. touch him - Seiichi would still stand by his brother because of the fact he was Jiro; a part of who Seiichi was. Besides, it was these little moments that were his saving grace, as rare as they were.
It a matter of moments more, Seiichi's second load was dried and neatly folded. With everything perfectly stacked in the basket, topped with his book, he hauled it all back up stairs to the apartment room. With graceful skill he opened the door and stepped in, surprised at the fact that Jiro was no longer sprawled on the couch drooling with loud snores. He sighed softly, heading to his bedroom and set the basket on the edge of his bed. He felt the heat of steam as he walked through the front door and figured Jiro had recently taken a shower. Hopefully, this would be the day he decided to rid himself of that stupid patch of hair on his chin. Seiichi could only hope. With his piles already pre-organized it took less than a minute for him to stash his clothes in their proper drawers and he set the basket at the foot of his bed where it always sat, waiting to be filled with the next pile of laundry.
Seiichi sighed again, giving his room the once-over to see if he could spot that misplaced hair tie. With a defeated frown he headed toward the kitchen. "Jiro." he spoke as he passed by his brother's door, "I'm back. What do you want me to fix for breakfast?"

He didn't know his twin was doing laundry, he still wasn't quite awake. Coffee was in order, and he didn't have that in his bedroom. Blinking when Seiichi passed by and looked in, he shook his head. "Just coffee, I guess. Not really hungry and got heartburn from eating so late last night." Coffee wasn't exactly the best idea in the world with heartburn, but hey. He loved his coffee like he loved his brother.
He exited his room and watched his brother carefully, shaking his head a little more. "Go sit down, Seiichi. You sound miserable." That tone he used was one that wouldn't be gone against unless he wanted to be touched or yelled at.
"I'll make coffee. And make rice and eggs for breakfast... How's that?" He asked, moving to force Sei to sit on the couch, grabbing him by the shirt and dragging him there. "Do you work? I can't remember.... I'll go in for you so you can sleep." That, and because he could molest Sei while he slept. One of his favorite things to do.

By the time Jiro had come out of his room with an answer Seiichi could hear, he was in the kitchen already taking the coffee can out of the cupboard. Not only was it just part of the morning routine, but he knew that Jiro would be calling for his coffee soon enough - especially now that he was wide awake after a shower. The comment struck Seiichi in a strange way. "Thanks a lot, Jiro. You looked pretty shitty yourself on the couch this morning..."
When Jiro grabbed his shirt and yanked on him, he nearly tripped over his own feet and almost dropped the entire coffee can on the floor - thankfully he had just let go of it to reach for the filters. If he had been wearing a uniform of any kind, he would have shot an earful at Jiro for grabbing it so roughly. Lucky for him it was just a simple shirt he slipped on to do the laundry in this morning. "N-No. I don't have a shift today. The adjusted schedule starts today. I don't work until after tomorrow." He thought to wrench Jiro's hand from his shirt - he hated the way his elder brother dragged him around all the time.
However, Sei was feeling pretty rundown at the moment and moved to sit at the table, letting Jiro at least handle the coffee. He would be in near kitchen so he would be able to salvage what was on the brink of incineration when his brother started to cook. He plopped into a seat and pulled the glasses from his face, rubbing his eyes a bit. His hair tickled the knuckles of his fingers as he did and it reminded him that he was still in desperate need to tame the locks. "Jiro, have you seen my hair-tie. I can't find it anywhere in my room."

Taking the rubber band off his wrist, he walked back over to his twin and offered the tattered thing to him. "You mean, this?" he said with an arched brow. "Why not just, you know... leave it down. You're not leaving the house today." Tone leaving no room for argument, he waited until Sei took the band before walking back to the kitchen to finish what Sei had started.
Making coffee was a breeze. Something he could do every day if he ever woke up on time. "How much laundry is left for me?" He asked, walking back through to the living room, picking up dirty clothes off the floor. "I mean.... ...Well, never mind. At least three loads, right?" Laundry. He knew how to do it, he just hated it. "I think I'll order in breakfast. What do you want?" Meaning, it would be lunch before he got to it, because he was going to do laundry, so Sei should order their food if they wanted a decent breakfast.

Seiichi blinked when he was presented with his band. This whole morning he had nearly turned his room inside out looking for it and it was no further than Jiro's wrist. "How long have you-" His question was stopped short at the tone Jiro had taken with that last statement. Not leaving? Who says? "...." Seiichi took the hair-tie from Jiro with a cautionary look. He really needed to invest in more than just one. (Of course, regardless of how many he would actually buy, he always seemed to end up with only one left.)
"I've done all my laundry. Everything left is your own. I don't know why you wait so long to do laundry, Nii-san. It's amazing that you ever have anything left to wear." he sighed as he pulled his hair back and looped the elastic around the handful several times. "Order out?" He watched Jiro as he picked up his worn clothes that he left all over the apartment. "I'll just cook. We don't need to order out." he answered with a shake of his head. He adjusted his glasses on his nose and moved to get up and head for the kitchen. "We don't need to spend extra money for food we can cook right here."
He pulled a frying pan from one of the lower cupboards and set it on the stove, opening the refrigerator to pick out some things to cook for the morning meal.

"You're supposed to be resting, damn it!" He said, putting a few pairs of pants in his hamper, which was getting pretty full and he'd only picked up the living room. "Hey, when did we get a rug?" he asked, looking up after picking up a few shirts and sweats. He didn't remember the rug at all. Whatever, it wasn't important. He shoved those into the hamper too, then shoved it down.
"Well, here's load one..." He said, looking to the kitchen with a frown. He'd really hoped Sei would order in. Jiro was in the mood for one of those omelets from American Garden. Well, he hadn't said so.
Dragging the basket to the door, he slipped on his shoes and then patted his pockets, realizing he had no change. He sighed and slipped his shoes back off and moved to the kitchen. "Oi... Can I borrow some money? I have like.. three loads to do. Big loads. And I'm going to use their soap. It makes me smell better than ours." He fixed his brother with a grin and batted his eyelashes behind his glasses. He forgot he didn't have a shirt on, and would actually go out like that. After all, it was laundry day!

Seiichi gave him an odd look at the outburst. And just as quick as he was to harp, it was forgotten. No surprise that he would forget the carpet that Seiichi and him argued about when they went to pick up what little furniture they had when they first moved into the place. Then again... with how often Jiro trashes the place with his clothes and garbage, it's rare to ever really see the color of the damn thing. Regardless of how often Sei would try and clean it, Jiro always seemed right behind him tossing something else there. He pushed the thought from his head - little things like that seemed to turn in his mind when it came to Jiro for some reason. He wondered how often his mind synced with their mothers in that sense.
With a sigh he pulled out a carton of eggs and some vegetables from the fridge and set them on the counter next to the stove as his brother worked on his laundry. Before he could actually start cooking anything though, Jiro stopped him. The only thing he could muster as an answer to the ridiculous display was a dead, unamused stare. God, this guy!! "You're pathetic, Jiro." He gave a heavy sigh and headed for his bedroom to grab what change he had.
Seiichi went straight to his desk and rummaged in drawers and jars looking for loose change. When he had gone to do his loads he managed to find the exact change. Doing his laundry regularly he could usually guess-timate how much it would cost him; being a math major made it slightly simple to do. Though, he should have anticipated Jiro needing a front - Sei apparently put a little too much faith in his elder half sometimes.

There were times when Jiro thought his twin put to much faith in him, but now wasn't one of those times. "I wait this long, by the way, because I don't see the point in it until you're on your last outfit!" He called as his twin went down the hall. He slipped a hand into damp hair and ruffled it around to get it to dry even faster. Probably not a 'tactful' thing to do, considering his hair is going to puff out once it's completely dry.
He would wait until his twin came back in the kitchen, grabbing a cup of coffee that had finished brewing. Yay for fast coffee pots. Fixing it up with cream and nothing else, he took a sip of it and sighed, leaning against the counter.
"Hey, nii-chan. We should go catch a movie or something together," he said after a moment of thinking. It'd been a long time since the two of them did anything together besides work. ....And Jiro's nighttime fun with Seiichi. He knew exactly what he was going to want to see, but... To throw his twin off, he'd be nice for a change. "Since you won't let us eat in, anyway. There's a few good ones coming out!"

Seiichi sighed as he heard his brother garble some nonsense about waiting to do laundry. Jiro always came up with the most ridiculous answers to things. It must have been some kind of inherent talent he found because he always seemed ready with several regardless of question or situation. (Though, he would never admit it - to himself or aloud - some he found a bit amusing.) After a few moments of rummaging and sifting through ... well, everything.. Seiichi managed to find a sizable handful of coinage. He wasn't sure how much use it would be for Jiro considering his masses of clothes.
"Here." He said, wandering back out of his room and toward the kitchen, "This is all I could find. Pray to your laundry deities that it's enough."
He gave his brother a slightly quizzical look at the suggestion. His conditioned mind already made him suspicious of his brother suggesting something out of character like that, but he threw a bit of caution to the wind and didn't slap away the suggestion immediately. He gave a brief thoughtful hum as he moved to make his own cup of coffee. Perhaps he could get to spill a bit of his undisclosed plans if he sort of danced around it a little.
"Why do you want to order in so bad? Are you getting tired of my cooking?" Seiichi dropped about two cubes of sugar into his cup and only half as much cream as Jiro used. With a bit of stirring he took a sip. Oh, God... Just what I needed. He sighed softly, glad to start getting a bit of caffeine in him. Hopefully that would rid him of that groggy, run-down feeling that was clouding his head. ... At least for a little while..

"....Laundry deities? Just what are you on this morning?" he asked, pocketing the money in his pajamas.
Setting his coffee down, he pulled his twin close, carefully so he wouldn't spill his coffee, and let his arms wrap about the other's waist. Sei's back to his chest, perfect for kissing at his slender neck. This was more of his tender times, like mornings tended to be. After a few kisses and nips, he set his chin on Sei's shoulder and nuzzled softly.
"Well, because I wanted one of those omelets from American Gardens. It has some kind of sauce on it, I'm addicted to. That, and their eggs are fluffier than yours." It wasn't an insult, at least not by Jiro standards. And his twin should know that by now.
He shifted to take in Sei's earlobe, tongue flicking against the earring that was there, smirking softly, hands sliding down his hips, touching his thighs and then back up. This was Jiro cuddle time in the kitchen on very little coffee.

The younger twin - though, only by 2 minutes - ignored his elders comment as he took another sip of his coffee, both hands around his cup, holding it close and savoring it. That is, until Jiro started paying him a little more extra attention. Sometimes he wondered what it was about mornings that made Jiro so warmly affectionate. It was nothing like the way he acted for, pretty much, the rest of the day. General rule of thumb was that he would become his infamous Jiro-self after he emptied his cup of morning coffee. But before he finished it...
Regardless, though, of how warm he felt.. or how soft his lips were against his skin.. or how tender his touches were.. or even the way his cologne enticed him right after he showered.. or how - as twins - they seemed to fit together so well.. or.. or.. OR WHATEVER. Seiichi wrenched himself from those thoughts. Clearly this sort of thing had been going on for far too long. Seiichi would never let himself fall into those kinds of thoughts with is own brother - his own twin. Seiichi just simply couldn't do it. Jiro was his family.
Seiichi jolted suddenly, the cup in his hands nearly spilling scalding liquid onto his hands. Damn it! I hate when he does that to my ears! Seiichi let out a slightly annoyed growl and shifted away then. "Your... your coffee's getting cold.." he murmured, unaware of the soft flush on his cheeks. He headed to sit down at the table and sipped at his drink again before sighing. "If you really want to eat out, Jiro, go. I'm not stopping you."

Seiichi should know that moving wouldn't really help, especially if he moved to sit. But, Jiro took up his coffee cup again and sipped at the slightly cooled liquid before sitting across from him. He saw that flush, smirked at it even, and then let his feet play with his twin's own, sliding his toes along his legs, looking pretty innocent.
"If I wanted to eat out, I wouldn't have said order something to eat here, nii-chan," he said with an amused chuckle. He would lean forward and grabbed Seiichi's hand, bringing it to his lips, kissing his fingers and then turned it to kiss his wrist and nip softly before lacing their fingers together. It was as if he were acting like they were a normal couple instead of twins. Honestly, he didn't care for the fact they were twins. It just meant they had a deeper connection than -normal- couples.
"...So the movies. Want to go with me?" He wanted an answer before he went to do his laundry. He also wanted at least one more cup of coffee before then. Such a procrastinator.

Seiichi knew this time that he was turning red. The way Jiro treated his hand so kindly. The way he seemed to look at him with ... God, Sei didn't even know what it was about the way his brother's eyes were that practically send a shiver down his spine. He swallowed, then had to do it again because it seemed to get stuck in his throat. He hated mornings..
"Jiro..." he spoke softly, somewhat distant in his voice and stare. "... Jiro!" he blinked out of his daze and looked at his brother with the resolve that was usually on his face, "What about -" he stopped to do the math in his head. Technically, they had been pulling a few extra shifts at work to earn some extra money - well, Seiichi had anyway.. They needed the bit of cash to replace the washing machine that had broke. Seiichi still wondered to this day how Jiro managed to bust up the machine the first time they used it since moving into the apartment. But... after he calculated how much they were making, what they had, and how much more they needed in order to afford the replacement. "... I suppose we could spare for a movie. We'll more than likely make it up quickly since I'll be working the busier shifts now." He took another moment more to go over everything. "Yeah.. I guess so."
It had been a while, after all, since Seiichi did anything like that. He had focused so readily on school and work, he rarely did anything just for the hell of it. Maybe this was a good thing. He glanced down at his hand, still tangled into his brothers fingers. Of course, maybe he should still be a bit leery of what Jiro might have planned. All the while considering that he tried to sneak his hand back.
