[[ To Suika~ ]]
Looking up at the sign above the door, a small smile spread across his face. He pushed open the door as a small jingle was heard through the store. As the door swung shut, yet another jingle swept through the small store again. He made his way to a window table, and sat himself down, dropping his bag beside him.
Looking around for a second, he tried to catch the eye of a waitress or waiter, seeing if he was going to be served soon or not. When a woman came over, he smiled and rested his chin on his propped up hands with a small smile. When the woman blushed, before he even said a word, he chuckled lightly. "Coffee with a cinnamon bun please." She nodded quickly then ran off, giggling with another waitress on her way past.
He knew he was well known, but seeing this in a small corner café made a bigger smile sweep over his delicate facial features. Brushing a strand of the black hair out of his face, he leaned back in his seat, and pulled out a novel he had recently picked up to read while he waited to be served.

Brushing a strand of hair from his face, Suika walked down the street. He'd decided on a walk and gotten a bit lost, though he didn't mind. Some cabs had gone by, so he knew he'd be able to call one later. Meanwhile, he looked around...The unfamiliarity of he area interested him, he rarely went to new places but today had seemed like it was appropriate. His bag hung from one shoulder, containing a laptop, a printed copy of a new manuscript he needed to check, and a copy of the book he'd just put out. His editor had dropped it off the night before, he had yet to look and see how it had been printed.
When he saw a cafe just down the street, his stomach gurgled slightly. Pressing a hand against it, he sighed softly and made for the door. It opened, he noticed there were bells attached to the door, almost feeling a bit embarrassed as they announced the fact he had just walked inside. It seemed there weren't too many people inside, Suika lingered a moment before taking a seat at a small table. Not long after, a young woman came over and he smiled a bit. "Sumiyaki and omelet, please," he said politely, watching her walk off.
Leaning back in his chair, he pulled his bag up and looked through it, not wanting to take out the novel (it had a slightly inappropriate cover) and instead taking out the tall stack of white papers. It was a period novel, this time, a request by his editor. It'd wound up being easier than he'd thought, so he was happy about it.

Looking around the shop over the top of his new book, he smiled at the people whom where there. There was always a new face see in a small shop like the one he was in now. He brushed a strand of hair out of his face as he went back to reading his novel. To him, it was an interesting read. He wasn't use to reading novels, he was more for instruction booklets for when he couldn't figure out how something worked. He was utterly useless in that manner, but truthfully, he found that it was an added special aspect to the man. Sure, women would call him useless, but most of them enjoyed him for his looks or company nowadays anyways.
Putting the novel down, a bookmark in his reading place, he smiled at the waitress back at his small table.
"H-Here's your order, sir." She placed it down on the table with a napkin, held the tray to her chest and awaited a reply, almost expecting one from the model.
With a nod and a smile, Hakumei looked up into her eyes. "Thank you very much, Miss." His voice was gentle and kind, showing no sign of affectionate interest in the girl, almost knowing he had yet another fan that he wouldn't see again for a while until they showed up in the fan listing online. He sounded like he was a conceited man only wanting fans and money, but Hakumei wasn't anything like that at all in reality.
Taking a sip of coffee, he tore a piece off of the cinnamon bun. It was fresh, and warm. The smell was irresistible as he put the piece into his mouth. Blinking, he noticed the man out of the corner of his eye. He had a Laptop and a bunch of papers and was reading through them. Businessman? No... they wouldn't be caught in a small cafe like this. Papers...papers...who would have a large amount of papers like that? Still thinking, he took another sip of his coffee, his eyes on the man.

Suika's sumiyaki arrived first, hot and steaming slightly. It was something he'd considered many a time, how he didn't like overly sweet things but also at the same time didn't like things to be to brazen, his coffee too strong. The sumiyaki was perfect that way, he could smell it as soon as it arrived. Smiling at the waitress, he picked it up and held it up with two hands (warming them) before taking a sip.
When he set the cup down, he leaned back again, tugging on the bottom of his sweater in thought. He was thinking hard about the novel, whether there was anything he wanted to change. His editor said it was fine, but...Suika kept thinking about it, leaning over to find a red pen in his bag. Pulling his knees up, he started to mark little things on the books, writing down his thoughts.
It was only when he'd finished a page that he took a breath and looked up, away from the paper and up at the ceiling. He studied the ceiling for a moment, looking toward the kitchen, then finally taking a good look at the little cafe he'd taken his refuge in. Suika had a little eye for details, having used numerous places he'd been to for inspiration. He looked toward the window, thinking he'd like to see how someone would see the outside from their seat. When he did, he found his eyes caught by a rather beautiful person seated near the window. Startled, he quickly looked away and back to the manuscript.
Wh...what was that about?
