[ From School] He felt his face become even redder as he was laughed at, he didn't know wether to smile because he'd made the teacher happy, or feel upset because he was the butt of some kind of joke he was oblivious to. However the teachers words made him feel a little more at ease and he put his seat-belt on. The touch tot he back of his neck had made him visibly tremble and feel weird, but he couldn't place in what way it was odd, just that it was. The silence on the way felt awkward to him, and he fidgeted in his seat, turning to look out of the window as things passed by. Both of his hands were in his lap and he picked at his fingers while his mouth was busy with chewing on his lip. He turned to face his teacher, his mouth opening as if he wanted to say something, the same sort of look on his features as had been in the classroom, but again no sound came out and he ended up just clamping his mouth shut again and looking ahead. He waited while his teacher ordered, and shifted to dig in his pocket for his meagre funds, however his effort was denied and he blinked in confusion. “Eh?” He tilted his head as Shinogu paid for both their meals. “But.. I... Sensei.. uh...” He fumbled with his words, his face coloring again, though it was hard to see since the flush was light and his skin was so tan. No-one had ever paid for something like this for him before... not that he'd ever been somewhere like this with anyone else, he usually saved up and came alone.

"Think nothing of it. I'm taking you out. It's the least I can do." He smiled, as he was handed the two bags. He handed them to Kisuke, and then retrieved the large drinks, placing both of them in the cupholders at the front of the dashboard. He drove off to the side to park, taking one of the bags from Kisuke's lap. "Smells delicious... I haven't had one of those in such a long time... not since I was a child." He smiled, opening the bag. "Look, there's even toys in here." He chuckled, placing it in the compartment between them. "My nephew would probably like this... he's almost two years old, you know." He said idly, opening the wrapping to his cheeseburger.
He bit into the sandwich, making a sound of pleasure at the back of his throat, downing the combination of cheese and meat with lemonade, smacking his lips. "Cute little thing... he can never stop staring at you, though. The curiosity of a child is an amazing thing." He said in-between chews, taking another sip of his drink. "What time do you have to be home?" He asked, mouthful of burger.

He smiled slightly at that, looking down at the bags of food shyly as they parked and his teacher began to eat. He opened his own bag and smiled at the toy, he usually gave them back to the staff so they could give it to a kid. Kisuke started eating his fries as he listened to his teacher talk, it must be nice to have a normal family... he kind of envied the kid. Depsite that, Kisuke placed his toy, which was different from his teachers, in the same place. “He can have mine as well, then... I bet...” His face turned blank and his eyes lost a little of their sparkle. “I bet he has a nice family...If they're anything like Sensei...”
He slowed down in his eating before he realised what he'd been saying and snapped himself out of it, forcing an awkward smile as he took his drink and gulped some of it down through the straw. The action, though, made him gasp and cough a bit as the bubbles fizzed up his nose and he pinched at it as he scrunched his eyes shut and shivered. “Ah.” He blinked his eyes open again and felt stupid, but at least it changed the subject... sort of. “I forgot fizzy stuff does that....”
He side glanced his teacher then, slowly placing a chip between his lips before it disappeared into his mouth. “Sensei... you know... I don't mind... and I'm... I'm really happy that you paid for me too... but... this way... it's... almost like a date.” He spoke, once again, with a completely straight face, indicating that he was serious.

"I suppose so..." Shinogu said calmly, startling as he watched Kisuke splutter, patting his back. "Are you ok?" He chuckled. "I forgot fizzy stuff does that...." Shinogu shook his head, laughing. Shinogu took another bite of his burger, before placing it back down, taking a few fries to shove into his mouth. "Sensei..." He was paying attention, his eyes following a car that had made it out of the drive-thru, looking at Kisuke. "Hm?" He responded.
"...You know... I don't mind... and I'm..." Kisuke really was adorable when he tried to speak so openly with him. It seemed the youth had so much more to him than he led others to believe. Even with that fact, Shinogu was startled at the next bit of his sentence. "I'm really happy that you paid for me too... but... this way... it's... almost like a date." His face remained unchanged while Shinogu's face lit up with a slight tinge. "What?" Shinogu was thoroughly embarrassed by the words the teen had said, diverting his eyes to the steering wheel. "H-Haa--" He began, taking a large gulp of lemonade, before placing the cup back down. "You shouldn't be so forward with your sensei, Kisuke-kun!" He laughed. "But, I guess it would be date, ne?" He smiled gently at Kisuke.

Kisuke shifted in his seat and side-glanced his teacher as the older man reacted in a rather odd way, in Kisuke's eyes it was odd anyway. He watched him take a gulp of his drink, though unlike the youth Shinogu hadn't choked on it. “S-sorry.” He said quickly as he was told he shouldn't be so forward, he didn't mean to be, and he didn't want to get into trouble either so he ducked his head and finished off his french fries.
When his teacher finished speaking he could feel that his own face was hot as he grabbed his burger from the bag and unwrapped it slowly. “W-well... I think... that's it'd probably not.” He said and took a bite of his burger, chewing slowly before he swallowed and licked some tomato sauce from the corner of his mouth. “Since Sensei's a nice and pure person, and I'm not.” He turned his head to face Shinogu and gave an awkward smile, his lips twitching slightly with the effort to remain in that position. “But it's nice to eat with someone for a change.” He shrugged his broad shoulders and leaned back in the seat, his attention falling back to his food as he continued to eat.

"I wouldn't say all that, now..." Shinogu snorted. It fell silent between the two, his mouth opening and then closing again. "What do you mean by not being pure...? All of us have a pure side to us... it's what we let get in the way that determines whether or not that purity is kept visible at all times. I think Kisuke-kun is pure at heart as well. You just don't know it yet." He smiled. "So, try to stay more positive, ok?"
He reached over to wipe the corner of Kisuke's cheek with the pad of his thumb. "Sorry, you had something there... my! I'm doing it again!" He sighed into a chuckle, pushing his hair out of his eyes. "I'm such a mother. Dare I say it, I'm just about the same with my little sister, and she's grown and with a child, and I still coddle her to this day." He ate the last of his fries, crumpling up the bag to toss it over his shoulder.

“...” He didn't elaborate on what he meant, he couldn't find the courage or the voice to do so. He just let his shoulders rise and fall in a ghost of a shrug. As for being positive, he really did try his hardest, but it was so difficult, and he almost always failed. He finished off his burger and picked up his drink, sucking on the straw for a moment before letting it sit in his lap.
He blinked as his teacher wiped his cheek, turning to face the other man with an embarrassed look. “Eh?” He was a bit confused at first, but the mention of mothering made his expression turn blank again. “I don't think you're like a mother at all. “Hm... but is that how they act, normally?” He turned and stared out of the windscreen at nothing in particular. “I think sensei... is a really nice person.”

"Well... my mother and my father wasn't kind to me... not after they found out certain things about me..." Shinogu said quietly. "But, that was forever ago. I don't even remember the last time I saw them! Someday I'll go visit... someday."
"I think sensei... is a really nice person." His heart warmed at his words, unable to fight down a smile. Being a teacher allowed these things to happen, to show a moment or two of kindness to another child, or better yet a young adult. It was gratifying, hearing Kisuke say those things about him. It was more than its weight in gold. But something was just as unsettling to him about Kisuke. There was still so much he didn't know about the boy. He turned the car back on, placing his seatbelt over his shoulders. "Well, we have to go, now. Where's your home? I can drop you off, as I'm sure the buses are already gone." Shinogu smiled.

Kisuke looked down into his lap, studying the red and white stripes along the straw as silence enveloped them for a while. When the car's engine started again he jerked in surprise and looked at Shinogu, taking a moment to answer. “Ah well... I live at 22 Kiyrobi Street.” The answer was quiet and he looked into his lap again before picking up his drink to finish it off. His heart was pounding in his chest at the thought of his teacher taking him home, he just hoped he drove away before he opened his front door, because when he had been late home before he usually got a shoe thrown at him or something, before he'd even got into the house. He didn't want his teacher to see that, he'd ask questions and it would be awkward and Kisuke was too afraid of telling anyone about what his mother was like, he'd have to make up some lame excuse. [ To Kisuke's House]

It was silent between them again as Shinogu drove on. He was nervous, he could tell by the way he stared into his lap. He was hiding something. "Ne, Kisuke..." He couldn't find anything to say just yet. Should he ask him...? He seemed to tense so much at the thought of home. Perhaps there was something going on at his house?
He didn't know what to do, or how to go about it, but whenever he wanted to talk about it, he seemed so put off on it. Not one to make others highly uncomfortable, Shinogu decided to drop it. All he wanted was for Kisuke to trust him enoug to tell him someday. After all, he was approached by faculty and staff to keep an eye on him. Why him, of all people? He would never know, much less fathom and understand as to why it was important for HIM to find out his well-being. They were turning on the street Kisuke mentioned, number twenty-two close by. When they had finally reached the house, Shinogu parked.
"I had a fun time." Shinogu said softly. "You take care, and don't forget to do your homework ok?" Were they supposed to part like this? Shinogu had little else to say, and only wished for the best.
